Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineer

RHRC is looking for an engineer with degrees in aeronautical and mechanical engineering and 2+ years of industry experience.  The small company atmosphere at RHRC requires an individual that thrives on change and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.  Forget about sitting at a desk running the same computer program over and over, here you'll work in a small group to figure out the best approach to a problem and then you'll be responsible for making it happen.  The ideal candidate will have expertise in the following areas:

• Flight Mechanics

• Mechanical Design and Machine Shop Experience

• Experimentalist with Hand-on Testing Experience

• Data Acquisition and Programming

• Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented

• Excellent computer skills necessary

• US citizenship required

An MS or PhD is preferred.

The ideal education would be a combination of aeronautical and mechanical degrees

Research Technician

RHRC is looking for an energetic research technician who is comfortable working with minimal supervision.  Duties include:

• Assembling and testing water tunnels

• Building water tunnel models

• Assisting researchers
