WROCLAW UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY
SELECTS MODEL 2436 RESEARCH WATER TUNNEL AND
MODEL 0710 UNIVERSITY DESKTOP WATER TUNNEL

is pleased to announce that Wroclaw
University of Technology, in Wroclaw, Poland has selected the
Model
2436 Research Water Tunnel and the
Model 0710 University Desktop Water
Tunnel for incorporation into it's education
and research program. This is RHRC's largest standard water tunnel,
holding approximately 5,000 gallons of water and featuring a working test
section that is 36 inches deep and 24 inches wide.
In addition to the basic water tunnel system,
Wroclaw
University of Technology has also selected a complete suite of research
equipment to enhance the capabilities of the water tunnel including the
computer-controlled and
programmable, dynamic model support system, and the
5-component force and moment, submersible
balance in addition to the complete data acquisition and processing system.
An easy to use LabVIEW based graphical user interface will provide researchers
and students complete control over the model support system and water tunnel,
and also allows the automation of a series of experiments.
